1. What is your favorite thing about your 2025 release?

"I think my favorite thing has been how these books have pushed me to become a better writer. With each book I write I learn a lot and this year was no different. Going into a new subgenre was scary but the love my newest release has received has been incredible."

2. What are your inspirations for your book?

"Inspiration can strike at any time, honestly. For example, for my new sports romance series I wanted to blend all the classic tropes we see and enjoy in sports romance with a 2000’s rom-com feel like Friends or New Girl since I am a huge sitcom fan."

3. Why do you think representation is so important in books?

"Representation is so important because sometimes people want to be seen and heard, and what better way than to see yourself through your favorite books? Just because it’s fiction, it doesn’t mean it needs to be perfect. Humans are complex, and bringing each unique voice to books it’s something wonderful."

4. Any advice for people who want to publish in 2026?

"Take one day at a time. Being an author is a marathon, not a sprint. And every journey is unique. Comparison is the thief of joy. Focus on YOUR journey and enjoy the crazy ride."

5. What are you most looking forward to in 2026? Any more releases on the horizon?

"I’m looking forward to writing more stories in 2026. I don’t have any releases planned for the next year because I want to focus on crafting the best books possible for my readers (though this may change because I love publishing. You never know!)"
