The Interview
1. Are you LGBTQ+? If so, how?
"Trans masculine and bisexual"
2. What rep do your books have?
"Gay and bisexual"
3. If you were to write in a different genre, what would it be?
"If I were to write in a different genre, I think it would be sci-fi. I played around in the medium when I was much younger, but the world building always stumped me. I'm good at horror because I can use a degree of unbelievability in an otherwise completely realistic world."
4. Anything exciting for you on the horizon?
"I have a novel in the beta reader stage as we speak! I've had a photoshoot for marketing and the cover, and I'm planning to take some of it across time and reality, taking the audience along for the ride. You'll feel a part of the world, which feels appropriate for a work that holds queer community as a central theme."
5. Who is a queer figure you look up to?
"I look up to Andrea Gibson, rest in peace. Their work was a true guiding light when I was still exploring my own identity and resonates to this day. "
