The Interview
1. Are you LGBTQ+? If so, how?
"Ally"
2. What rep do your books have?
"All have LGBTQIA+ rep and mental health rep
Enemy Zone: BIPOC rep, neurodivergent rep"3. If you were to write in a different genre, what would it be?
"At this point I can't imagine writing anything but MM romance, but I am tempted to veer into the paranormal or omegaverse genres."
4. What is your biggest writing inspiration?
"I want to write stories to lift people up and provide an escape from the real world. I'm creating the world I wish we live in."
5. Anything exciting for you on the horizon?
"I'm doing my first big signing on the Rainbow Reader Cruise in August. I'm equal parts thrilled and terrified. I'm also hoping in 2027 to produce audiobooks."
6. Who is a queer figure you look up to?
"My mom. She was an out lebian in the 70s and she wasn't afraid to live her truth. She also got her MSW in her late 40s and inspired me to publish my first book at age 53. She taught me to not be afraid to chase my dreams and my opinion of myself is the most important one."
