The Interview
1. Are you LGBTQ+? If so, how?
"I'm a trans non-binary AroAce."
2. What books of yours have LGBTQ+ representation, and what rep do they have?
"All of my books have queer rep. Currently, they all feature male-male main couples, with an assortment of queer side characters. The elves and dragons have more than two biological genders."
3. Why do you think LGBTQ+ rep in books is important?
"Queer people have always existed. It's strange and inaccurate not to have them in media. Rep is important because it's empowering. It's a way for people to explore gender and sexuality."
4. What got you into writing?
"I've always been a huge reader. I started writing when I was young, inspired by the books and authors I was reading at the time."
5. Who is a queer figure you look up to?
"I look up to all the other queer indie authors out there who are trying to get their voices heard, despite everything trying to silence them."
